CCS Parents, Students, and Teachers Lead the Way on National Voter Registration Day

We’re Building Momentum for the School Board Election

On National Voter Registration Day, Columbus City Schools parents, students, and teachers showed what civic leadership looks like. Together, we transformed a national moment into a local success — and a powerful reminder of how engaged our community is.

Here’s what we accomplished in just one day:

  • Mobilized 30 volunteers across the city

  • Reached 20 schools across the district

  • Registered parents at drop-off and pick-up

  • Helped high school students register during lunch

What’s clear is that CCS families and educators are energized, organized, and committed to voting this fall to strengthen our schools.

Thank you to every volunteer who spent the day registering new voters, updating records, and making sure neighbors know their polling places. This work reflects the best of our school community — active, organized, and determined to make our voices heard.
